PM Solutions has an organisational wide focus on First Nation’s People’s inclusion and openly strives to incorporate indigenous persons within its workforce, which is empowered and championed by the PM Solutions CEO’s indigenous heritage and special relationship to the Nunukul Peoples of Minjerribah and the broader Quandamooka Peoples.

Our Focus

In 2008, PM Solutions established its First Nations Peoples Cultural Respect and Awareness Policy and program, as a mandatory requirement for all PM Solutions employees and consultants, as well as all externally utilised subcontractors. Meaning that, all staff undertake cultural awareness knowledge transfer and be familiar with the PM Solutions policy. The policy aims to increase our contractors, sub-contractors and consultant’s awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture, history, beliefs, social issues and the ongoing challenges they face.

Our Commitment

PM Solutions is committed to the employment, training and advancement of Indigenous Australians in the project management, delivery and consultancy fields. In significant aspects of our consultancy and contract works, providing suitable training and support to achieve of goal of 15% to 25% of our workforce includes Indigenous Australians. Where possible we would seek to populate our projects with Indigenous Australians and actively pursue training and support options to empower Indigenous Australians to occupy the upper levels of management and future leadership within our organisation.

Respect – Understanding - Trust

Through increased awareness and education, our policy aims to promote behavioural change amongst employees, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants of PM Solutions, which will in turn contribute to better service delivery and improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and stakeholders. As well as providing basic cross- cultural information, our policy aims to develop a knowledge base and better understanding of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, their challenges and past events, which will assist our teams in their contracted duties and develop greater respect, understanding and build trust with Indigenous communities.
